This website was developed to accompany the Sudan Post-Conflict Environmental Assessment report published by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in June 2007. It provides comprehensive access to the data collected by UNEP experts in the course of 150 days in the field in Sudan, as well as to the information gathered from research and analysis over a period of two years.

This tool makes available to the public hundreds of photos taken during fieldwork, maps and satellite images, bibliographic information and background documents, as well as the various technical studies undertaken for the assessment.

The Sudan Post-Conflict Environmental Assessment and associated reference materials can be explored interactively by visiting the Browse section of the website. For a full list of maps, photos and references gathered during the compilation of the report select the respective menu options at the top of the page.
